Jarred began his career at Citigroup in Global Corporate Investment Banking, where he became a Vice President in Global Equities, responsible for covering some of the banks largest asset management clients. He went on to earn an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University where he helped manage consulting engagements in Beijing and Istanbul. Jarred spent two years as a Director at Royal Bank of Scotland and five years as a Senior Vice President of Global Banking and Markets at HSBC.

Building on both his Wall Street experience and his extensive relationships within professional tennis, Jarred launched Approach LLC in 2014, connecting tennis enthusiasts, executives, celebrities, corporate influencers and global innovators to the biggest stars in tennis.  As the three year captain of a nationally ranked Division I men’s team, the hitting partner/advisor to former WTA #1 and Olympic Gold Medalist, Elena Dementieva, and a hitting partner to French Open Champion Ana Ivanovic, Jarred has developed an enormous network of past and present players.
Jarred is also Co-Founder of Fanthropic.  The first ever digital community of sports fans.  Fanthropic harnesses the passion of fans and the power of teamwork to combine sports and philanthropy creating a model for giving back to the foundations and charities of professional sports teams.



Scott Kurtis is currently the head of Asian trading at Artisan Partners, a global investment management firm with total assets under management of $115 Billion. Scott is the former Director of Operations for Asian Century Quest Capital, a New York hedge fund focused on Asian investments. During the firm’s nine-year growth from $5 million to $2 billion in assets under management, Scott built the operational framework as well as managed the trading desk. In addition, Scott wrote and coordinated the disaster recovery operations for the firm, which were successfully implemented during Hurricane Sandy. Scott graduated from Northwestern University in 2001 with a BS in Journalism, and was a varsity letter winner on the tennis team.



Kelly’s event marketing expertise stems from 10 years in the hospitality industry. During her tenure with Omni Hotels, she was instrumental in the launch of the Global Hotel Alliance, leading to an international loyalty program for travelers. Kelly has successfully elevated multiple brands by building well-aligned cross promotional opportunities. She has developed executed promotional events in multiple markets. She has created several integrated marketing plans for multi-channel B2B and B2C strategies.


Approach Consultant – Tennis Coordinator

As a former collegiate coach at Miami University, Bruce led his teams to three conference championships, and garnered three Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year awards. He was named USPTA 2004 Maryland Professional of the Year and the 2003 Mid-Atlantic Professional of the Year. Prior to entering the coaching profession, Bruce won two U.S. national titles and played on the ATP tour for three years. In addition to a master’s degree in sport psychology from the University of Florida, Bruce is also a certified Master Racquet Technician with the USRSA, as well as a USPTA and PTR certified professional. He joins the Approach team to manage the on-court logistics at each event.
